Finances Specialist

Job Description:

The successful candidate has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees the preparation of all necessary financial statements, and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate and timely
• Reconciles bank accounts
• Runs general ledger detail reports to review cash in bank accounts.
• Monitor the accuracy of daily cash reports, financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded
• Preparation of payroll on QuickBooks
• Analyzes financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary
• Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, payroll and cash flow management
• Assists with annual reports, reviews revenue and expenditure accounts, as needed.
• Provides financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization's strategic goals
• Other duties assigned.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven experience to manage multi-company accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• This position requires QuickBooks Online knowledge, a minimum of 1 year of experience working within QuickBooks Online
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong analyzing skills
• Fast learner
• Leadership orientation. Ability to work independently.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• This is an office position, which requires the use of a PC.
