Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Electronics Engineer and provide on-site engineering and project management support for construction projects. This individual will also perform as a field electronics engineer for coordinating and performing the testing of communications and control equipment in high voltage electrical substations, radio stations and control centers, as well as modifications and additions to the existing installations for a regional electric utility. This is a

2 years

plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment.

This is a

full-time

position based in Vancouver, Washington with up to 95%

field travel throughout service area of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is

$30.33 - $41.57

depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (from an ABET* accredited school) is required. Candidates 3 months from graduation will be considered. Proof of degree may be requested after graduation. Note: *ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) 6 months of Electrical Engineering experience is required. Experience must include knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system. Knowledge of design standards sufficient to review and correct Transfer Trip design, RAS and Data systems design, Microwave Radios, and Fiber optics.
