Principal Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the company's security initiatives and controls deployment.
  • Establish secure coding practices and provide security focused code review
  • Provide an ultimate path of escalation for security concerns raised by customers and partners
  • Develop tooling, processes and training to improve the security posture of the organization
  • Support Product and Engineering through PSIRT activities
  • Coordinate Penetration Testing activities with 3rd party providers for infrastructure and applications
Requirements:
  • Strong analysis skills, detail oriented, strategic thinking
  • A deep bench of pragmatic experience in designing secure large-scale systems using cloud, container, application, and infrastructure security design patterns
  • An understanding of the Cloud Native landscape and security implications
  • Experience in managing penetration and vulnerability testing lifecycles
  • Ability to influence with empathy and compassion
  • Ability to drive projects from ideation to resolution with a can-do attitude
  • Experience with AWS
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (CS), engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in hands-on application and product security disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Experience working remotely on a distributed team
  • Experience working with Kanban methodologies, and incorporation of security requirements into SDLC (CI/CD) with product owners/managers.
  • Familiar with NoSQL databases.
  • dotNET, NodeJS, and/or Python Experience
  • Experience in a Windows/.NET environment
  • Kubernetes experience
  • CISSP, CEH, GWEB, CWAPT, CCSP, CSSLP, CISSP-ISSAP, GPEN, GWAPT, GMOB or OSCP certifications are appreciated but not required.
