Summary:

The Programmer Analyst provides reporting, systems analysis, design, and programming services for the Information Technology department. We may also consider a Senior Programmer Analyst title/role for the right candidate with additional experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • To assist the organization in the coordination of systems analysis and design for the departments to which assigned.
  • Design, document, and maintain all necessary programs and reports as required, including association management software (AMS), MS SQL Services, Visual Studio, and other available tools.
  • Provide assistance with testing, planning software upgrades, problem solving, and error corrections.
  • Conduct employee trainings for in-house and third-party software systems as assigned.
  • Responsible for data modeling using SSIS/Integration Services, SSAS/Tabular Model, and SSRS/Power BI Paginated Reports.
  • Provide technical support for customers of the Foundation.
  • Collaboratively assist the Web Team in website development, using designated software systems.
  • Work directly with diverse business groups to establish requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

No formal supervisory responsibilities; however, incumbent may be required to train/mentor more junior staff members.

Requirements

Required Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or computer science related field PLUS a minimum of 2 years experience (including internships) working in software development, or in the design and development of database management systems is required.

-ALTERNATELY- A minimum of 4 years experience (with no degree) as a software developer or in the design and development of database management systems will be considered.

The International Foundation will always consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
  • Exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities is a fundamental requirement for this role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics, reporting, and debugging, particularly while working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Dataverse SDKs and Object-Oriented programming is preferred, but not required.
Must possess sound programming skills using:
  • Reporting - SSRS/Power BI Paginated Reports
  • Power Query/M (data models)
  • MS SQL Server database, T-SQL
  • Source control management systems (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • .NET (Core or 5+) C# and XML/JSON web services with direct experience in evaluating and porting legacy applications from WebAPI, MVC, to modern .NET architectures
  • Business analysis - reporting, predictive analysis, debugging
  • Technical documentation writing
Additionally, any of the below experience or exposure is also helpful, but not required:
  • FetchXML
  • Power BI
  • SSIS / Integration Services, ETL / Data warehousing
  • JavaScript
  • Power Apps, Power Automate / Dynamics CRM / software development kit (SDK)
  • AI exposure

Travel Requirements:

This position may intermittently require that the individual travel for work; but only up to 10% of the time.

Hybrid Work Environment:

This position is expected to work from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI. This is an environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.

New hires are expected to be fully onsite during the training period. Then, once fully trained, the Foundation operates on a 60/40 Hybrid schedule; with 60% being onsite at our headquarters in Brookfield (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays); and up-to 40% being optionally remote (Mondays and Fridays) and as business needs allow.

Comp: Compensation range starts at $70,000, based on experience.
