YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager you will supervise and coordinate a team of Operations Specialists within the Operational Care Center (OCC). They are the expert in operational processes and drive a team in order to provide first-class services according to the global and regional Sea Freight standards. You will ensure that the team follows the procedures for the activities and services in scope, and is adhering toagreed Key Performance Indicators.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will develop and support a team in order to assure committed quality of operations services.
- Act as a first point of contact when responding to escalations and support emails.
- Investigate loss file reporting.
- Maintain surplus tasks for any team member(s) as needed.
- You will actively communicate with team members on group and individual level with aim to build positive team
atmosphere, motivation and results (e.g. team meetings, 1-2-1 discussions). - Maintain consistent communication with branch team members daily.
- Assure that team executes tasks with expected level of productivity & performance and evaluate
employees' performance and growth together with Operations Supervisor & Manager and trigger
actions for improvement and development if needed. - Understand and support team with any systematic issues that have been established and documented.
- Ability to delegate and coordinate team workload
- Strong knowledge of sea freight transportation
- 1 Year' of experience at the Operational Care Center
