About you
We seek a proactive and organized individual to support IT systems at our Cheil Dallas office. As the Systems Administrator, your role entails overseeing the daily operations of our servers, including e-mail, print, and backup systems, and ensuring their associated operating systems and software are up-to-date and functioning efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining network connectivity, managing security measures to safeguard our data, and handling both the setup and ongoing support of AV equipment in our conference rooms. This position requires a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly while maintaining clear communication with team members and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless IT infrastructure. This role is based in Plano, Texas.

About the role
  • Administer and maintain servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot issues related to employee hardware, software, and networking.
  • Ensure data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  • Manage and support the organization's audiovisual technology needs, particularly in setting up and maintaining AV equipment in conference rooms.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for IT-related issues, effectively addressing and resolving tickets in a timely manner.
About the Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IS or related field preferred
  • Or a combination of certification (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, or similar credentials) with desired work experience.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in systems administration, demonstrating a broad knowledge of hardware, software, and networks.
  • Experience with AV technology and conference room setups is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Macs, as well as various network components.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, or similar credentials are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Cisco systems and strong foundation in network/server are strongly desired.
  • Able to work onsite with some remote flexibility with on-call status for agency needs.
