WellSpring School of Allied Health is a Kansas City-based post-secondary school with a branch campus in Springfield. WellSpring is exclusively focused on preparing graduates for successful careers in health and wellness-oriented professions. This position is a part of our Massage Therapy program.

Job Description:

The instructor will be able to successfully:

  • Instruct adult students in a classroom setting.
  • Maintain a classroom free of distraction.
  • Present a positive environment for learning and interaction.
  • Demonstrate strength in instructional methodology, delivery, and techniques.
Must be able to work evenings, however ability to work afternoons is a plus too, as we offer both daytime and evening classes. The number of hours vary each week and are dependent upon instructor availability, but they typically range from 8-24 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be highly personable, outgoing and must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal abilities and have a track record of achieving results by working through other people.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Instruct students in a classroom and laboratory environment to prepare them for the job field.
  • Effectively achieve the objectives of each course taught.
  • Work closely with the Program Manager and Campus Director to ensure students are successful in their studies.
Job Skills/Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates will have a valid license to practice massage in the state of Missouri and will have at least 2 years of massage therapy experience.
  • Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer competency is required.
