You will support Vitalant's life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitate the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients. Whether you are just starting your career, or new to the blood banking industry, we're here to train, mentor and help you grow. What to Expect Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday from 12:00pm to 10:30pmOur comprehensive total rewards support you, your family, and your future with: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K + 5% company match Tuition assistance up to $5k per year Free basic life and AD&D insurance Free short-and-long-term disability insurance Paid time off Employee Resource Groups Recognition and perks As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to: Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy. Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle. Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability. Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
