Type: Contract to Hire or Direct-Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

Performs routine mammography exams, as well as mammography procedures and x-rays.

Explains procedures and process to patients and instructs and assists patient in assuming physical position examination.

Operates developing processor as instructed.

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment to comply with infection control and departmental standards.

Performs clerical duties as requested while maintaining department efficiency and good patient care.

Maintains regulatory compliance in all areas of mammography and radiology.

Ensures fiscal responsibilities and departmental resources are maintained.

Follow radiation exposure guidelines as outlined in the radiation safety manual for employee and patient safety

Ability to maintain departmental flow and established volumes of exams.

Requirements:

Licensed Radiology Tech

ARRT Certification

Ideal is experience in 3D scans - will train

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a hospital radiology department or private radiology office required.

CPR certification
