Internal Applicant Deadline: Thursday, July 18th by 4:30pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs routine and project cleaning of assigned classrooms, office areas, meeting rooms, corridors, lavatories, and locker rooms. Completes set-ups and take downs of chairs, tables, and heavy or bulky equipment as directed Cleans up and santizes after accidents or illness Assists in cleaning and monitoring boilers, vents, and air handling equipment. Maintains and properly stores tools and equipment. Follows all security measures when opening or closing a facility. POSITION: Hourly Custodian LOCATION: Edina High School HOURS PER DAY: 8 hours/day DAILY SCHEDULE: 3:00pm - 11:30pm DAYS PER YEAR: 261 (12-month position) RATE OF PAY: Pursuant to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), this position has a starting hourly rate of $22.06. BENEFITS: Pursuant to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Contract QUALIFICATIONS: -High school diploma or equivalent -Customer service oriented -Strong communication skills -Team player -Reliable -Custodial experience preferred, training will be provided.
