We're seeking talented individuals to join our team in a unique software engineering role that combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive strategic consulting initiatives.
This is a fully remote position. Relocation is not available for this position. You must live in Panama today. Be a Panamanian citizen or authorized to work in Panama without sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement solutions that meet business objectives.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications.
Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enhance application performance and scalability.
Implement cloud-based solutions and services.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance product functionality and user experience.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
Conduct technical consultations and provide expert advice on best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
Qualifications:
Language Skills:
Proficiency in conversational English, both written and spoken is required. B1 or above.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Java Spring Framework.
Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
Strong knowledge of web development principles and best practices.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Nice to Have Technical Skills:
Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Consultative Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
Experience in client-facing roles and handling client communications effectively.
Additional Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full stack development.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
