SUMMARY
Administers the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and employee self service applications. Establishes procedures required to standardize and record personnel transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Sets-up and maintain system codes and controls such as position codes, status codes, job codes, etc. Assists department personnel with questions or problems on the HRIS system. Trains new employees on system use and informs/trains users as new releases and software revisions occur. Troubleshoots problems and interfaces with the IT department to resolve problems and implement changes to computer screens, reports, etc. Develops and maintains HRIS procedures manual. Coordinates production of daily reports, mass updates, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports team leads in translating business objectives into technical requirements to configure, test, and implement the new business requirements as efficient and maintainable process with in the HRIS systems ecosystem, such as adding new legal entities, new system modules, or new business/data collection processes.
Assists in maintaining system configurations, onboarding, data maintenance, and other system modules.
Performs routine audits, end user system security updates, organizational structure configuration, jobs configuration, and year end configurations.
Assists in the importing and exporting of data between systems by gathering data requirements from the requestors, coordinating/communicating with departmental staff, verifying data accuracy, and troubleshooting import/export errors.
Provide technical assistance and support or assist in problem resolution by working with end users and related business units to investigate, resolve, and answer questions.
Actively uses a ticketing and tracking system to view assigned incoming requests and document corrective actions.
Assists in end user training by creating documents, using screen shots, or having screen share discussions with end users as needed.
Read technical manuals to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance.
Assist with developing, writing, and edit training materials and procedures.
Generate standard or custom reports summarizing human resources data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledgeable of computer systems and database systems concepts.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 0 - 2 years of experience using information systems experience preferred.
Relevant work experience accepted in place of formal degree.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None required for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am, to 5:00 pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel may occur; up to 10%. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
