Summary:

The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

Responsibilities:

Assemble spreadsheets and create reports from both corporate finance systems and business driven systems. Analyze financial information to produce compliance reports to back up data used for actuals, forecasts and budget. Interpret data and communicate back issues and recommendations for fixing issues. Present oral and written reports on findings of work products/projects.

Top Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

Excel | Pivot tables, Cubes, Pulling data | 5+ Interacting with ERP systems | SAP, Mantis, Mercury, or similar | 3+ Data Sets | Hierarchy, relational values, common key values | 2-3 years (must be recent)

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of company policies, procedures and regulations related to accounting. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software. Previous experience with SQL or ERP systems on how to pull data for projects.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
