ROLE

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will collaborate to build a best-in-class FP&A function. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent written and verbal skills, advanced analytical ability, and efficient project management skills. This is a corporate FP&A role that will have the scope of directly supporting the CFO and helping to craft the narrative on company performance.

Key responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Effective Communication:
    • Primary FP&A contact directly supporting the CFO
    • Create succinct and digestible presentations for executives
    • Manage month-end close presentations
    • Use excellent verbal and written communication to communicate business trends
  • Team Player:
    • Be part of highly successful and growth-oriented team with an executable strategy
    • Create new solutions to hard problems by collaborating with team members
  • Analytics:
    • Point person for corporate reporting going to the executives, the board, and external stakeholders
    • Help the VP, Finance and CFO craft the financial narrative of the company combining both high level trends with detailed analysis
    • Lead critical analysis that is part of the budget and forecasting process
    • Create analysis on strategic initiatives with complex variables and uncertain results
    • Conduct industry due diligence to help connect broader healthcare industry datapoints with MRO trends, that can inform future decisions
    • Assist with M&A evaluation, due diligence, and post-merger integration, as needs arise
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's in a related field preferred
  • Relevant experience sets include FP&A at a private equity portfolio company or large institution, investment banking, or consulting
  • Proven analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and quantitative abilities.
  • Expert skill level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Power BI experience is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert project management and time management skills
  • Ownership / results / accountability-oriented, able to overcome obstacles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
