Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, fabricate and clean parts to subassemblies and complete units
  • Test, calibrate, inspect and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
  • Read and identify blueprint requirements such as: Epicor receiving/ rejecting parts, Final inspection identify exception and file all documents,
  • Epicor verification buy off and stamp hard card, In-Process inspection/ verification all test certs are in hard card, Measure all sealing surfaces and O-ring depth.
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Basic Computer Skills
    Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Knowledge and use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Leeplug installation tools
  • Knowledge of testing and integration
    Ability to read wiring schematics
  • Ability to follow blueprints and read instructions
  • Ability to train and certify other assemblers
    Able to maintain quality.
 
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing assembly experience
    Preferred at least one year within Modern Industries.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
    Ability to work standing for periods of time
 
Special Requirements:
  • Specific Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to wear clean room attire for clean room assembly.
