Lead, Network Engineer Purpose of Role The Lead Network Engineer will be responsible to provide subject matter expertise on the design, implementation, and operational support of the UA global network. This role will primarily be focused on supporting the Under Armour Distribution house, corporate, and retail environments. Your Impact Design, implement, and document network architecture Research, develop and evaluate, recommend and integrate new network technologies Develop, update and maintain network documentation Lead, participate and collaborate with cross functional teams from architecture, other engineering groups, security, infrastructure, and vendors Provide peer review on all changes and designs Lead and drive all network designs to meet operational support requirements Tier 4 support for critical escalations Qualifications Analytical - Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures. Bachelors Degree preferred and/or 8+ years of experience managing complex network environment using Cisco and cloud technologies. Network tools and automation experience. Experience managing complex network environment: SD-WAN, cloud firewall, on-prem firewall, network access control, wireless environments, and AWS networking. Certificates, please list in resume CCNA required, CCNP preferred (or equivalent knowledge/experience) AWS Solutions Architect (or equivalent knowledge/experience) Network Skills Cisco CLI for LAN, and wireless Cisco Campus Switching Cisco Data Center Switching Cisco Wireless Cisco ISE Fortinet Firewall SilverPeak SD-WAN AWS Networking Zscaler NextGen cloud firewall Python Ansible Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore HQ office. Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. Travel: 10% Licenses/Certifications: CCNA, CCNP preferred and AWS Solutions Architect preferred. Relocation No relocation provided Base Compensation $125,149.60 - $172,080.70 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
