What you will do in this role: As an Exercise Physiologist you will be an integral part of the Diagnostic Team. You will perform stress testing, evaluate EKG's, scan Holter monitors, in addition to other responsibilities in providing exceptional patient care. As the first line of defense in an emergency patient situation, the exercise physiologist and their knowledge and care are extremely valuable to all aspects of the Heart and Vascular team in meeting the needs of quality patient care.Why work as an Exercise Physiologist at Munson Healthcare? Entry Requirements: Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university majoring in Exercise Physiology, Science or Movement Science, or Kinesiology or similar program required.American College of Sports Medicine Certification preferred.Current BCLS certification.Current ACLS certification. (This certification is preferred, must be obtained withing 90 days upon employment).Completion of approved ECG interpretation course successfully or may be challenged to meet competency thru staff development.One year of prior exercise testing experience in Cardiac Diagnostic type lab preferred.
