JOB SUMMARY:The Production Specialist is responsible for graphics, audio, and video of the MSS productions or any other duties needed throughout productions. The primary job function requires the employee to work independently using creativity and/or originality to contribute to production as needed. The Production Specialist reports directly to the Production Manager. The Production Specialist will work as a member of a team, promoting a positive attitude and feeling of well-being towards co-workers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Working out of a Mobile Production Unit - set and strike in a safe and orderly manner at every event; Using production equipment to produce TV quality games, shows, news announcements and in-house promotions; Driving on the job as needed to perform job duties; Performing equipment checks and notifying directors when equipment in the Production Unit needs repair; Organizing and delivering tapes/disks to appropriate locations; Accurately completing associated paperwork; Adhering to Company and Departmental policies and procedures, including EEO and safety guidelines, at all times; Other duties as required.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent - required Associate Degree in Communications or equivalent related work experience - preferred 1-year prior related work experience - preferred 1-year experience with sports production preferredJOB REQUIREMENTS Initiative - Tackles problems and takes independent action, seeks out new responsibilities, acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, practices self-development. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record that meets Company standards at all times; Background record that meets Company standards including pre-employment drug screen; Reliable means of transportation at all times; Present professional appearance and demeanor; Strictly maintains confidentiality of financial and/or other information acquired in the course of work; discloses only when authorized, unless legally obligated to do so.Skills Required: Demonstrates attention to detail; Ability to work in a team environment; Expresses oneself clearly and concisely; Writes English in clear, concise sentence structure; Demonstrates good organizational skills; Demonstrates professional demeanor; Works efficiently and effectively with little or no direct supervision; Presents self positively to the public; Regularly lifts up to 75 pounds of equipment used in the performance of job functions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Walking, kneeling, standing, lifting (up to 75 pounds regularly), assembling scaffolding, stooping, climbing (stairs/scaffolding), sitting, driving, seeing (close, distant, color, depth perception, adjust focus), hearing, talking, using hands and fingers to grasp, hold, pick-up, use keyboard, drive, etc.WORKING CONDITIONS: The Production Specialist is a non-exempt, contingent position, working on an as needed basis less than 20 hours per work, daytime, either evening or weekend hours. The Production Specialist is required to be available a minimum of 3 days per week from noon to 10 PM, including Fridays and Saturdays. The Production Specialist reports to the actual event location. The Production Specialist works in a Mobile Production Unit or at an onsite facility. The Production Specialist is responsible for handling and using the Company's equipment in an efficient and professional manner. The Production Specialist is required to drive on the job as needed and is subject to regular MVR checks. At all times, he/she must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets Company standards for an insurable driver. The Production Specialist is subject to periodic MVR checks, and will be required to give written approval upon request. The Production Specialist is subject to random drug screening. Due to the Company's need to provide consistently high-quality customer service and employee reinforcement training, the Company, as a standard practice, periodically monitors the crew performance, ability to complete the job and on-site behavior.
