Bookkeeper - Accountant Level We are looking for a Bookkeeper - Accountant Level who will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information for a business. This role requires a deeper understanding of accounting principles than a standard bookkeeper, including handling more complex financial tasks. Key Responsibilities: Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable. Manage bank and credit card reconciliations. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. Tax Preparation and Compliance: Assist in tax return preparation by organizing financial data and preparing documentation for external accountants. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections. Monitor and manage payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations. Auditing and Internal Controls: Assist in auditing processes by providing accurate financial data and supporting documents. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Provide analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement.
