**Eastern Wealth Management Team Leader II**

Lynn, MA Full-time RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manages account portfolios in accordance with clients investment policy. Ensures adherence to equity and fixed income investment strategies.

* Represents Eastern Wealth Management (EWM) at meetings of boards of directors, investment policy committees, etc. of charitable institutions for which EWM provides a service.

* Participates in department administration by mentoring others, ensuring asset quality and recommend procedures and policies, as needed.

* Seeks out new business opportunities from assigned accounts and other sources and assists other officers with their new business efforts.

* Specific trust and estate administration responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Obtaining and maintaining appropriate documentation on accounts

* Ensuring that all account assets are collected and properly valued

* Ensuring that beneficiaries receive remittances and periodic statements in compliance with the governing instrument and applicable state law

* Communicating with grantors and beneficiaries to determine their financial needs and outside resources

* Authorizing or recommending discretionary distributions

* Working with the tax vendor, or with attorneys and accountants, to ensure that fiduciary income tax and estate tax returns are prepared and filed in a timely and accurate manner

* Terminating accounts in accordance with the terms of the governing instrument

* Filing and arranging for the allowance of probate accountings

* Act as account officer for 200+ accounts, the actual number being dependent upon several variables, including size, complexity and number of relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

* A bachelors degree is required. Masters degree is preferred.

* 5+ years of wealth management industry experience, or equivalent education and/or certification

* CFP preferred, but not required

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Knowledge of fiduciary law, fiduciary income taxation, trust, estate taxation and estate planning

* Excellent written communication skills

* A minimum of 3-5 years experience in the financial services industry or related field with knowledge of trust administration, portfolio management, and estate planning

* Should have excellent interpersonal, communication, business development, account management, and relationship building skills.

* Strong sense of client service, satisfaction, and retention with an eye for needs identification, problem solving and the consultative sales approach

* Possess proven abilities advising and building strong client relationships

* Trust certifications, attendance at Trust Schools, law degrees and CFP designation are all preferred.

* The ability to work autonomously

* Meaningful Community involvement and network on the North Shore/Boston

* Staffing and ongoing management of direct reports

* Lead by example, demonstrate the major functions of the job and coach others to follow

* Regular Team Meetings & 1:1s to be held Monthly

* Conduct Annual Reviews as a way of providing feedback & monitoring results

* An extension of the Division Head, carrying out initiatives and supporting the direction set by the Division Head.

* Exemplary Client & Business Partner Management with New Business results to confirm effectiveness

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

* Oversight of relationship managers within a territory including

* Support new business development efforts of the RMs including mentoring, ongoing training and addressing challenges with new opportunities.

* Support the RMs networking efforts with COIs and internal business partners to maximize reciprocity of the relationships.

* Support ongoing client relationship management through mentoring, discussing clients profiles together as necessary, assisting with any problem resolution and assisting with modeling accounts and other investment protocols.

* Provide guidance on cross referrals to other business lines as needed.

* Mentor and coach RMs on team to support their efforts to make Pinnacle.

* Work with RMs and Admins on team to ensure efficient and consistent workflow and collective and collaborative communication between the team, TAC, OPS and the investment team.

* Manage team calendar for office coverage over vacations and holidays.
