The Cage Cashier provides friendly, efficient, accurate customer service to guests and co-workers through the process of chip cashing, check cashing, and making simple exchanges. It is a fun job for a public-orientated individual and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given point in a timely manner.

DEFINITION : This position provides prompt and outstanding guest services, quality products, and maintains a clean comfortable store environment.

- Delivers outstanding guest services by maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor and connecting with each and every guest.

- Follows company operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety.
- Provides fresh, quality products consistently for all guests by adhering to all products rotation, food safety, and presentation standards.
- Follow safety guidelines for all duties.

- Promotes great team work and readily assists work team's needs throughout the shift.
- Maintains a clean and polished appearance, wearing the designated uniform and name badge at all times while on shift.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout area.
- Greets customers entering establishment.
- Consistently uses suggestive selling techniques in order to boost store sales and increase guest satisfaction.
- Follows all state and federal regulations for gas, alcohol, and tobacco sales.
- Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shift to ensure that the amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Performs inventory on the 1st of every month.
- Completes Mobil's daily duties check list every shift worked.
- Performs related and/or other duties as required.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Honesty and Integrity.
- Continuous on the job training.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works variety of shifts, including weekend and holidays. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; There will be bending, stooping, walking and standing for various periods of time.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Supervision Received: Reports to Mobil Manager.
Salary Description
$12/HR
