The Cage Cashier provides friendly, efficient, accurate customer service to guests and co-workers through the process of chip cashing, check cashing, and making simple exchanges. It is a fun job for a public-orientated individual and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given point in a timely manner.

DEFINITION : This position provides prompt and outstanding guest services, quality products, and maintains a clean comfortable store environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The duties listed below are examples of the work typically performed by an employee in this position. 1. Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge which promotes the culture and values of our company.
2. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep store operating and to set a positive example for the entire team.
3. Delivers outstanding guest services by maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor and connecting with each and every guest.
4. Every position is expected to do their part to provide amazing guest service.
5. Follows company operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety.
6. Provides fresh, quality products consistently for all guests by adhering to all products rotation, food safety, and presentation standards.
7. Follow safety guidelines for all duties.
8. Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
9. Promotes great team work and readily assists work team's needs throughout the shift.
10. Maintains a clean and polished appearance, wearing the designated uniform and name badge at all times while on shift.
11. Maintain clean and orderly checkout area.
12. Greets customers entering establishment.
13. Consistently uses suggestive selling techniques in order to boost store sales and increase guest satisfaction.
14. Follows all state and federal regulations for gas, alcohol, and tobacco sales.
15. Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shift to ensure that the amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
16. Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
17. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
18. Performs inventory on the 1st of every month.
19. Completes Mobil's daily duties check list every shift worked.
20. Performs related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Honesty and Integrity.
• Continuous on the job training.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works variety of shifts, including weekend and holidays. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; There will be bending, stooping, walking and standing for various periods of time.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Supervision Received: Reports to Mobil Manager.
