We’re looking for a Software Architect (aka The System Visionary) to lead the technical strategy, design cutting-edge systems, and guide development teams to success. As a Software Architect at our client , you’ll be responsible for creating architectural blueprints that drive product development, ensuring that software solutions are well-structured and scalable. Your work will be the foundation of the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that all technical decisions align with business goals and future growth. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design and Blueprinting: Lead the design and development of software architectures for large-scale systems. You’ll create detailed architectural blueprints, define technical standards, and ensure systems are scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Serve as the technical leader and mentor for development teams. You’ll provide guidance on best practices, design patterns, and technical decision-making, ensuring that development efforts align with the architectural vision. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. You’ll ensure that technical decisions are aligned with product goals and timelines. Technology Selection and Evaluation: Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure that the tech stack is up-to-date and capable of supporting the company’s long-term objectives. You’ll make critical decisions on the best technologies to use for each project. Scalability and Performance Optimization: Design systems that can scale efficiently to meet growing demand. You’ll focus on optimizing performance, ensuring that systems can handle large volumes of data and traffic while minimizing latency and ensuring reliability. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices across all software architectures, ensuring that data is secure and systems are protected from vulnerabilities. You’ll ensure that systems meet relevant industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2). Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and technical audits to ensure that software development follows architectural guidelines and maintains high standards of quality. You’ll establish technical processes that ensure code quality and consistency across the team. Requirements Required Skills: Software Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in designing large-scale, distributed software architectures. You have a deep understanding of design patterns, microservices, and system architecture best practices. Programming and Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in programming such as Java, Python, C#, or Go, along with experience in building both backend and frontend systems. You’re skilled in cloud technologies, APIs, and database management. Scalability and Performance: Expertise in designing systems that scale efficiently, with a focus on performance optimization, fault tolerance, and high availability. You have experience with load balancing, distributed databases, and caching strategies. Security and Compliance: Deep understanding of software security best practices, including data encryption, authentication, authorization, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You’re skilled at working across teams and departments to drive technical initiatives. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in software architecture or system design is also valued. Certifications in software architecture, cloud technologies, or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Experience Requirements: 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in an architecture or technical leadership role. You’ve designed and implemented large-scale systems in production environments. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures. Experience in leading and mentoring development teams, ensuring that software projects are delivered on time and with high-quality technical solutions.
