Position Overview:
The Warranty Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring that all warranty claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with both company and manufacturer policies. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in warranty processing, preferably within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims for Fouts Bros Inc. and its divisions, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Review and verify the validity of warranty claims based on manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with customers, service departments, and manufacturers to resolve warranty-related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, approvals, rejections, and follow-ups.
- Communicate claim status updates to relevant parties, including customers and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with all warranty-related policies and procedures.
- Monitor claim reimbursements and ensure that all payments are processed promptly.
- Assist with identifying recurring warranty issues and provide feedback for quality improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and service bulletins.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in warranty administration, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of warranty processes and policies, including manufacturer requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in warranty software systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
