WORK SCHEDULE Thursday - Saturday 8:00am - 8:00pm JOB DESCRIPTION As an MRI Technologist, you will operate standard, and specialized MRI equipment to perform routine MRI examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. You will prepare patients for MRI procedures and perform MRI following established procedures for patient care and safety. You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, and patient data/history). You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. You will follow MRI safety procedures and guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS One year experience as a MRI Technologist Graduate of an educational program in Radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) OR graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology OR a military training program of equivalent standards Associates Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology - preferred Licenses and Certifications Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per Longhorn Imaging Healthcare policy Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, (RT) MR Medical Specialty: Radiology Education: Associates degree (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required) ARRT Certification (Required) TMB Certification (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Radiology Schedule: 12 hour shift Education: Associate (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) TMB certification (Required) CPR Certification (Required) ARRT Certification (Required) Work Location: In person Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $37 - $42 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
