Nevada Gold Mines has the job for you Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Electrical/Networks Supervisor at our Turquoise Ridge operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all underground electrical equipment; direct supervision of electrical crews and contractors working in the electrical departments area of responsibility; perform other duties as assigned. We offer a generous benefits package which includes a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more Responsibilities: Reporting to the Underground Network and Communication Supervisor, the Underground Network and Communication Technician is responsible for the following: Provide supervision for the electrical maintenance work force in the Underground Division Responsible for carrying out construction and electrical maintenance plans in a safe productive work environment Perform all network and communication maintenance duties required in the mine and on surface Equipment includes, but not limited to fiber optic network, wireless network, Cisco switches, Radio and radio controls. Responsible for administering company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Three (3) years experience with underground network and communicationspreferred Formal education in network and/or communicationspreferred Possess strong knowledge/skills in Network & Communications repair, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of complex underground equipmentpreferred Willingness to learn and apply new skills to repair all underground mobile mining equipmentrequired Strong dedication to safety and courageous leadershiprequired Demonstrated knowledge of SAP/EAMpreferred Eight (8) years experience working in an underground mining environment required Ability to work effectively with all departments in a team environment required Knowledge of conveyor systems, ventilation systems, pumping systems, and communication systems preferred, high and low voltage power distribution required Ability to perform all essential functions of this position required The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role. #LI-TC1 About Us Our mission is to be the worlds most valued gold and copper mining business.
