This multi-use facility which includes a hotel, meeting rooms and food and beverage service is located just north of I-220 in Northwest Jackson. This is the ideal job for someone who loves the hospitality industry but needs to have weekends off. Barring an emergency (2 or 3 times per year), the work week is Monday - Friday with weekend and holidays off If you believe in teamwork and don't mind being the support person, MMI Dining has an opportunity for someone like you. As a Houseman, you will be responsible for maintaining support for the Room Attendants, maintaining the exterior of the assigned buildings and following proper cart and storage procedures. Housemen play an important role in the housekeeping team by providing Room Attendants with clean linens and removing soiled linens, glassware and the trash. You will be responsible for keeping the exterior of the hotel looking clean by removing trash and debris from walkways and flower beds along with cleaning the porches, verandas and patios. Plus, assist the culinary team in processing dishes and bussing on busy nights. In other words, a little bit of everything.
