**Safety Manager**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** The Safety Manager to lead safety and training initiatives for all on-site customer yard operations, including spotting and scale house teams.

* Ensure compliance and adherence to customer policies and practice

* Manage customer compliance portal and maintain compliance

* Coordinate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) on job functions of drivers and yard staff

* Develop and implement injury prevention programs

* Conduct Job Safety Observations (JSO) on drivers and yard staff on all shifts

* Develop and implement quarterly safety training sessions

* Report, investigate and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on accidents and incidents

* Train drivers and yard staff on all safety-related education

* Other duties as assigned

?**Qualification Requirements:**

* 6-12 months of previous experience in the transportation industry required

* A high school diploma or GED required

* Class A CDL and Medical Card preferred

* Basic computer skills needed

* Experience in stand up training techniques or OTR Driving experience preferred
