A healthcare facility in Central New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Emergency Department. This is a long-term travel opportunity offering flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: minimum of 6 months Shifts: Days or Nights Schedule: 7 shift per month Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am Setting: Emergency Department Patient Volume: 35 patients per day Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting Conducting assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and determining treatment plans Collaborating with Attending Physicians and Nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Managing and documenting all patient interactions accurately within the EMR Maintaining compliance with facility and state healthcare regulations Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's and Master's Degrees Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification Active DEA registration Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Desired Skills: 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience Board Certification in Emergency Medicine by Jobble
