Wage range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience

Your Impact

We are looking for a dynamic and multi-skilled individual who can excel in a hybrid role that combines cooking, prep cooking, and barista duties, all while delivering outstanding customer service. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Provides high-quality customer service, including efficient sales practice and proper food sanitation.

Prep/Cook Duties:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies.
Barista/Cashier Duties:
  • Operates cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus).
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, as well as teas and other beverages.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment and ensure it is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Educate customers on our coffee offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences.
Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly, taking orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism.
  • Assist with cashier duties, including handling payments and managing transactions.
What you will need
  • Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a role involving both cooking and prep work.
  • Barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and service.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and a passion for engaging with customers.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • State Food safety card/certification.
  • Ability to do heavy lifting.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six (6) months previous experience working with the public in a customer service role.
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen and tuberculosis in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
  • Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
