ESS Analyst/Desktop Technician_

Aloha One of Hawaii's largest shipping and navigation services company is currently seeking an ESS Analyst to assist with its day to day operations. They have several large projects coming up – migrating mobile devices from Airwatch to InTune and replacing their old VoIP Avaya phone system with RingCentral phone system, plus just general day to day end user support tasks. There is also one staff member going out on maternity leave later this year so the contract staff would be assisting the client with the projects as well as filling in when the employee is out on leave, plus a little overlap before and after. The work schedule is mainly M-F 0800-1600 but could occasionally include weekend or evening work, especially with the Avaya replacement project. Will need a TWIC and driver’s license. Skills: sccm, o365, Windows 10, Deployment, Troubleshooting Hardware Additional Skills & Qualifications: • Hardware, operating systems, systems software, and communications technologies including RH Linux, Windows 2008-2012 Server, Intel-based or CISCO rack and blade servers • Windows OS 11 • Storage systems and applications including RAID, NAS, SAN, tape backup hardware devices, Veritas backup software • IT software management tools such as SCCM • SCCM • IT services management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow • Network technologies and products including Cisco routers, Cisco switches, MPLS, TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, and 802.11x wireless communications • File transfer, messaging, and Email applications including Microsoft Exchange 2010, Microsoft Lync, FTP, SFTP, and MQ Series • Security tools including Cisco, PaloAlto Networks, Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco VPN, Network Associates/McAfee products including EPolicy Orchestrator • Knowledge of VoIP telephone systems and technologies including those from Avaya and Cisco • Server and desktop virtualization using VMware products. • Patch and Security Management About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
