- Conduct group and/or family sessions, under supervision, as scheduled and documents as required.
- Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
- Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
- High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years' experience in a behavioral health environment
- OR Associates Degree in a human service field with two or more years' experience in a behavioral health environment •
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). •
- Teamwork and excellent customer service
- Valid Driver License with acceptable driving record.
- Two or more years' experience with the population of the facility
- Certification or willingness to pursue certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor
- Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs.
