Cashier

**Primary responsibilities:**

* Answer customers questions, and provide information on procedures or policies

* Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change

* Greet customers entering establishment

* Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas

* Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, debit cards, gift cards and coupons

* Request information or assistance using paging systems

* Stock shelves, and mark prices on shelves and items

* Assist in maintaining an orderly yard, including material movement

**Requirements**

* Positive, professional manner when interacting with customers and Weston Nurseries employees

* Attentive to customers and customer service

* Previous retail experience helpful

* Knowledge of Epicor POS helpful

* Must be able to work one day each weekend
