Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in the Lake Odessa area within the metals recycling industry .

Furnace Tender Job Summary:

  • 12 hour shifts.
  • 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.
  • Controlling of the furnace machine to melt metal.
  • Visual inspecting of parts for proper quality .
  • Adjusting of the machines to ensure they are operating correctly.
  • Attention for safety.
Furnace Tender Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED ; preferred .
  • Manufacturing experience of at least 1 year .
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment .
  • Ability to withstand being close to furnace for short periods of time .
  • Ability to lift maximum of 50# throughout shift.
  • Experience with loader equipment.
