Join our team as a 2nd Shift Inspector In this role, you'll ensure that customer expectations are met by following procedures, completing paperwork accurately, and inspecting bags for defects such as loose edges, wrinkles, misprinted designs, or color variations. You'll notify operators of any issues and remove defective products from the line. We're looking for someone with great attention to detail, mechanical skills, and the ability to train others. shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

  • Following procedures to safely meet customer expectations
  • Complete required paperwork accurately
  • Monitoring results and ensuring the quality of material and final products before leaving the work area
  • Inspect bags coming off of bag machine for defects such as loose or torn edges or wrinkles, missing or misapplied glue, misprinted bags, color variation and inaccurate registration or ink smears
  • Notify operating personnel of defects
  • Locate and removes defective bags from conveyor, stacking tables or pallets
  • Ability to train others
  • Ability to comprehend Spec Sheets
  • Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate mechanical comprehension.
  • Support SQF Certification.


The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
