The Role:

  • Provide top quality service and ensure that guests have a favorable dining and gaming experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
  • Appropriately use all related equipment, including cash registers, Micros, and credit card machines.
  • Ensure all food and beverages produces are rotated and served in a quick and neat fashion.
  • Clean the floor, counter, and machine in the Tradewinds area.
  • Keep an accurate count of al money and company received from customers.
  • Monitor quantities of all supplies and notify Restaurant Supervisor or Shift Manager when quantities are low.
  • Stock food and beverage items for Tradewinds Concessions.

  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members. Comply with all policies and procedures established at Bally's Kansas City and department management.
  • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request for any member of management.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in food service or cashiering is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license and TiPS certifications.
  • Appropriate use of related equipment, including electronic cash register, Micros system, telephone, two-way radio, and other related equipment.
  • Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Qualifications
Experience 1 years: Gaming Industry Experience: 1. Prior experience in a casino or gaming environment is highly desirable. 2. Understanding of casino operations and regulations is a plus. 3. Knowledge of responsible gaming practices. (preferred)
1 years: Cash Handling Experience: 1. Previous experience as a cashier or in a role involving significant cash handling experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to manage and balance a cash drawer. 3. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash registers. (preferred)
1 years: Customer Service: Proven ability to interact positively with customers and provide excellent customer service and experience resolving customer complaints and issues effectively. (preferred)
