Role Description

This is a full-time, entry-level, on-site role for a Product Engineer at PRODEW, INC. located in Marietta, GA. The Product Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to product engineering, including analytical skills,product design, research and development (R&D), and effective communication. The Product Engineer will work closely with the team to develop and improve products, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards. Additionally, the engineer should be able to help with providing step-by-step instructions for installation, assembly, and mechanical build.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and design products using SolidWorks and CAD software.
  • Utilize Blender for product visualization and design enhancements.
  • Strong familiarity with 3D Printing.
  • Provide detailed documentation for different phases of the manufacturing process, including schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct research and development to innovate and improve existing products.
  • Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure timely completion of finished products.
  • Apply basic mechanical engineering principles to solve design and manufacturing challenges.
  • Ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Help with step-by-step instructions for installation, assembly, and mechanical build.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in product engineering and design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software.
  • Ability to use Blender for product design and visualization.
  • Experience in research and development (R&D) processes.
  • Good understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in coordinating between different teams.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience in creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOM).
