Overview Contract Air Ambulance Flight Nurse RN Southern Florida Acute Air Compensation: Competitive Flight Rate Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contract Air Ambulance Flight Nurse RN to join our team in Southern Florida. As a Flight Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients during air medical transports, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the flight. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during air ambulance flights Assess and monitor patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed Collaborate with the flight team to ensure safe and efficient patient transport Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use Ongoing annual and quarterly training Qualifications Current RN license in the state of Florida Minimum of 3 years of critical care or emergency nursing experience Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification, desired Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Current Passport Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in high-stress environments Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Drug Screen And background check required Available within a 45-minute drive from FLL International Airport Benefits Competitive flight compensation Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Supportive and collaborative work environment State-of-the-art medical equipment and resources International travel #J-18808-Ljbffr
