Machinist Apprentice

Regal Rexnord is seeking Machinist Apprentices for our Canal Street plant location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This Apprenticeship is a formal training program for our Machinist roles. This is a minimum of a 4-year Apprenticeship that combines On-The-Job Training with Classroom Instruction one-day per week at an approved Technical College program. Upon successful completion of the program, associates will receive a State of Wisconsin Certificate of Apprenticeship.While working at the Canal Street Shop, the Machinist Apprentice will be responsible for assisting Journey-Level Machinists, while learning all facets of the Machine Shop, following Regal Rexnord's Apprenticeship structure in compliance with State and/or Federal rules and regulations.Field of study will include but, are not limited to:Precision measurement and inspection of Manual and CNC machines.Milling, turning, grinding, metallurgy, material testing and parts assembly.Cut-off machine operation.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent, is required.Strong verbal and written comprehension, with the ability to thrive in a team environment and work well under supervision.Ability to work independently and responsibly in a variety of industrial environments is essential.Preferred Qualifications:Good Math skills and basic computer skills are highly desirable.Experience/exposure in an Advanced Manufacturing environment or recent Skilled Trade-related classes, is preferred.Solid Mechanical background is a plus.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a $6.5B publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
