Looking for an opportunity where you can make an impact, where you can truly make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities?We are looking for a talented Staff Development Specialist who share our dedication to provide and coordinate training and programs at the facility.Job Responsibilities:Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used toward advance training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or courseworkAssesses, in cooperation with other staff, the training needs of staff at all levels within the facilityPrepares written reports and provides for testing of employees enrolled in coursesEnsures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required. Provides training and the coordination of training for all staffIdentifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required trainin gEducation/ExperienceBA/BS degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years experience working in IDDPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
