Your expertise and attention to detail will directly impact our company's success and reputation in the industry.As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and tests on products, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. Your role will be integral in maintaining and enhancing our quality management systems. We also provide professional development opportunities, allowing you to expand your skills and advance your career within our organization.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product qualityConduct inspections and tests on products at various stages of productionAnalyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to resolve quality issuesTrain and educate employees on quality standards and proceduresMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and make recommendations for improvementMaintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and recordsParticipate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulationsStay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practicesRequired Qualifications:2+ years of quality engineering experienceMust have experience working in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) companyMust have experience with SMT and PCBACertified IPC610, J-STD 001 trainer with ability to train exempt and non-exempt personnel preferredBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferredLocation:San Jose, CASalary:$85K - $110K commensurate with experienceAt Omega EMS, we foster a collaborative environment where teamwork and open communication are valued.
