In this position, you will Provide accountability for clinical, administrative, and human resources activities for pediatric service lines and programs offered at the community-based partner hospitals. Ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective, developmentally appropriate patient care in accordance with current standards of care and evidence-based practices.Since 2003, the Texas Childrens Hospital Community Initiatives program has provided neonatal, pediatric and maternal fetal medicine services to community hospitals.Today, the program has expanded to include partnerships with 11 hospitals across Houston and surrounding areas, supporting our vision of Right Care, Right Place, Right Time.Think youve got what it takes?Responsibilities:Participate in service line planning and development of management agreements between various healthcare related institutionsIdentify need for information including internal and external sources and provide accordinglyAssist with the development, implementation, and direct marketing for assigned initiativesParticipate on various hospital committees and partner hospitals to further enhance system policies and procedures, identify process issues, and implement the necessary changesReport on status of current initiatives to executive and medical leadership as requestedCollaborate with hospital leaders, community hospital leaders, and community and hospital-based physicians to determine services appropriate for a community settingEstablish appropriate policies, procedures, and standards of care and practice based on current evidenceConduct special projects as assigned by the Senior Vice President including initial assessment of project viability from a clinical/operations perspective, assisting with service line business planning and development, facilities planning, physician relations and practice development, and other priorities as identifiedAssist community partner hospital NICUs with establishing neonatal Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) ProgramDevelop and maintain strong relationships with administration, faculty, clinical leaders, and direct reportsEnsure Joint Commission requirements specific to department are fulfilled and understand the linkage between department's requirements and those of the integrated delivery systemCollaborate with colleagues in other departments to ensure all Joint Commission requirements are metRequirements:Required bachelor's degree Nursing and master's degree Nursing, Business, or Healthcare related fieldRequired RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure CompactRequired 5 years NICU nursing experience inclusive of three (3) years management/leadership experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
