Responsibilities:
• Lead the system/platform architecture roadmap definition & planning.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define & refine key system requirements in early stages.
• Work closely with offshore technical teams on design, development, deployment and troubleshoot production issues.
• Partner with the project teams to maintain architecture through development, qualification, and commercialization of the project.
• Work closely with the technical leads on product development programs to lead technical integration topics across engineering disciplines.
• Attend and provide guidance on technical reviews at design & integration cycle milestones.
• Assesses issues across a systems platform and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor or higher degree and 10+ years in system/subsystem architecture, app/cloud development, or other software development experience
Strong experience on AWS Cloud services such as Amazon Elastic Cashe, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, S3, Apache Storm
Strong experience on Java or Python
Excellent communication skills,
Being proactive and Ability to closely collaborate with various teams in different timezones
Good thought leadership with both business and technology outlook
Agile Experience
Ability to work in dynamic and fast paced work environment.
Roll up sleeves and code during the development phase and help
Nice to Have
• Design and Development of software intensive systems in a highly regulated environment (i.e., medical devices or Mil/Aero)
• Experience in System Safety and Security
• Experience in medical device product development
• Experience in implementing products that have to integrate into multiple platforms
• Experience in leading development of distributed systems
• Well-developed collaboration skills with proven track record of interfacing between multiple groups and functions (R&D, PMO, Marketing, Regulatory, QA, and External Experts)
