Clinical Systems being defined as on-premises cloud-based systems which are designed to collect vital signs or other clinical data from biomedical devices and forward that data to the Health System Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.* Act as a liaison in clinical equipment initiatives within patient care departments, other hospital departments, medical staff and other enterprise partners.* Demonstrates Knowledge and Understanding of Clinical System Design and Deployment: Receiving general direction from the Assistant Vice-President of Biomedical Engineering and Team-Leader for Integrated Clinical Systems. The Clinical Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating existing system operation and participating in new integrated Clinical System initiatives.* Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.**Job Requirements:****Education:*** Graduate of an academically accredited Biomedical Engineering Technical program**Licenses and/or Certifications:*** N/A**Work Experience:*** 3 years experience in Clinical Device integration.* Basic understanding of Clinical Devices inter-operate in a networked environment.* Basic understanding of HL7 messagingMethodist Health System is a faith-based organization with a mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
