Quality Control Engineer

Position: Quality Control Engineer
Location: Sarepta, Louisiana
Role / Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system.
Monitor and improve quality control processes across all departments, including material
preparation, CNC Plasma operation, assembling, welding, and painting, to ensure consistency
and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including material prep, fabrication, painting, logistics,
and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of quality standards throughout project
execution.
Investigate and resolve quality-related issues promptly, collaborating with relevant departments
to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
Knowledge and Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related
Proven experience in quality control, preferably in welding/fabrication environment
Minimum 3-years experience working in fast paced manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Experienced creating reports and producing spreadsheets with Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
