Housekeeper

Responsibilities:Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and offices.Sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents.Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.Clean and disinfect surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, and light switches to prevent the spread of germs.Launder linens and towels according to facility procedures.Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies.Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of biohazardous waste.Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.Respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
