Apr 18, 2024 - Midnight Society is hiring a remote DevOps Engineer.

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team and play a critical role in streamlining our game development process. You will be responsible for automating builds, managing infrastructure, and ensuring our cloud systems are optimized for game development and deployment.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Manage and maintain infrastructure on-premise or in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) for development, testing, and production environments. Configure and optimize cloud resources for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and implement automation opportunities throughout the development lifecycle. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure smooth operations. Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps tools and technologies relevant to the gaming industry. Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and methodologies. Broad experience with cloud platforms technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure configuration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.). Experience working in a fast-paced and agile development environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A passion for video games and the gaming industry. Bonus points for:

Experience with game development tools and engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc). Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with security best practices for cloud environments. What we offer:
