Position Title: Physician Substitute (LPN/LVN)
Location: Pine Bluff, AR
Business Hours: Tue-Fri 7am-7pm, Sat 8am-6pm
Pay Range: $24-$27 per hour based on experience
Required Work Schedule: Saturdays and 4 other days throughout the week, with shifts being either opening or closing (8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours per week)
Job Summary

Immunotek Plasma is seeking a dedicated LPN or LVN to join our team in Pine Bluff, AR, as a Physician Substitute. In this role, you will perform donor medical evaluations, determine donor eligibility, and monitor donors during the plasma collection process. The ideal candidate will be a licensed LPN/LVN who thrives in a regulated environment and can deliver quality care while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct screening procedures including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and arm checks
  • Perform finger sticks for hematocrit and total protein testing using screening equipment
  • Evaluate donor eligibility by conducting medical history interviews and physical examinations
  • Educate donors on testing procedures, donation risks, and informed consent
  • Monitor donors during the plasma collection process and respond to any adverse events
  • Communicate effectively with the Center Medical Director and management during emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP standards
  • Accurately document and manage donor records in the donor management system
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active LPN/LVN license in the state of Arkansas required
  • Minimum of one year of experience preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Physical Requirements
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively
  • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above and below the shoulder level
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)
  • Capable of lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
