An injection mold company serving the automotive industry is looking for a dependable, team-oriented machinist.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set-up CNC/EDM machines to perform machine functions on work piece.
  • Performing G-Code programming to run CNC machines.
  • Setting up and operating units.
  • Blueprints and process sheets to determine the correct settings for units.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and Machine Cleaning.
  • Generally, work with engineers to establish proper manufacturing methods.
  • Inspect finished work pieces to ensure tolerances.
  • As well as monitoring machines during production runs to adjust machine controls and prevent errors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • The skills to run CAD, CAM, software applications are helpful.
  • The ability to read micrometers, gauges, and probes are also helpful.
  • Experience in the following is highly recommended: Yoneda, Makino, Fanuc AND Toshiba 3-Axis machines.
