We have a great opportunity for an experienced operations professional, interested in managing our global operations. The Director, Global Operations is responsible for the overall performance of the global manufacturing facilities. They plan, direct, and oversee all operations and supply chain activities in the organization, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization.

The Director, Global Operations is a critical member of the FOP executive team and will be a key player in setting and executing long-term strategic activities that support key performance indicators in top-line growth, bottom-line performance, and working capital management. They lead the manufacturing facilities through leadership of the Plant Managers, and other key operations personnel. They can be based in either the Phoenix area or southern AZ to be close to our Nogales, MX facility, or in the Chicagoland area close to our business headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee global plant operations to ensure manufacturing/production efficiency, quality, safety, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources and profitability for the global manufacturing organization. Develop and implement a strategic plan in line with the company objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. Responsible for day-to-day management of the business to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets driving performance through the Plant Managers. Lead Plant Managers to execute and deliver strategic goals and operational excellence Review monthly financial pack to determine progress and status in obtaining objectives and revise plans as necessary in accordance with current conditions to meet the overall objectives. Ensure adequate resources (personnel, materials, equipment and training) are provided to meet the company objectives. Drive standardization across plants and operations where appropriate. Lead lean implementation and principles ensuring plants and regions are equipped with the tools, training, and resources for implementation. Establish and implement safety programs in line with company values and policies. Manage analysis, budget, and planning for capital investments, as needed. Lead manufacturing and operations integration of acquisitions, as needed. Develop a strong, independent team that is empowered to lead, make decisions and deliver results.

Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related 10+ years of experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing 5+ years of executive leadership experience in operations and plant management with responsibility over multiple locations globally. Must have experience working with a global company with global manufacturing responsibility. Ability to understand and identify key market trends, with strategic market development experience. Deep experience and knowledge of Lean principles (Kaizan, 5S, A3, value stream mapping, etc.) Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. High energy, teamwork, and passion for developing team members. Proven track record in cultural change management. High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple initiatives at a given time. Ability to lead, train, mentor, and implement best practices. Ability to travel globally
