The Jefferies Technology Group provides a full suite of advisory and capital markets capabilities to clients across software, internet, communication technology, semiconductors and related sectors in North America, Europe, and Asia. POSITION The Global Technology team is actively looking for a Vice President for our New York office to support senior bankers across all sectors. The role involves pitching for and executing advisory and capital markets transactions for a broad group of public and private clients, including M&A, leveraged finance, public equities and other advisory services. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and participate in client presentations Compile financial analyses such as valuation, M&A scenarios, and three?statement operational models Analyze business plans and participate in due?diligence sessions Draft private and public marketing materials such as offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, and S?1s Participate actively in drafting sessions Mentor analysts in the Technology Group These responsibilities provide direct interaction with senior client executive management and senior bankers at Jefferies. Associates in the Global Technology Group are expected to attend and participate in client meetings and help build and maintain client relationships. REQUIRED BACKGROUND Either (i) an MBA and investment banking experience; or (ii) an undergraduate degree and 6+ years of investment banking experience Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills Strong valuation skills and significant valuation experience Live in NYC or be willing to relocate Familiarity with investment banking transaction processes Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously Resourceful self?starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player Helpful but not required: background in technology, such as technology banking or consulting, or an undergraduate degree and/or work experience in a technology/engineering field Seniority level Mid?Senior level Employment type Full?time Job function Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr
